Wendy Dusenbury

Wendy Dusenbury, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ANVP-BC is passionate about acute stroke treatment and is pursuing research in that area. Preventing death, but most of all reducing disability from stroke, is a priority.

She earned her BSN from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, MSN from Wichita State University, and her DNP from University of Alabama-Birmingham.

She is currently a Nurse Practitioner for University of Tennessee Clinical Health in Memphis, Tennessee where she works with the acute stroke team and on board the mobile stroke unit. She is a former stroke program manager for Via Christi Health in Wichita, Kansas.

Dusenbury lives in Garden Plain, Kansas.
