Pamela Peterson

Pamela Peterson, BSN, RN is pursuing a PhD in Nursing with a focus on symptom assessment and management for critically-ill adult patients. She became interested in this area while working as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. She is passionate about improving outcomes for this patient population.

She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Winona State University.

Peterson currently works at Mayo Clinic—Rochester as an RN Study Coordinator in the Nursing Research Division. Prior to this, Peterson worked as a staff RN at Mayo Clinic—Rochester in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. During this time, she also participated in the Clinical Nurse Scholars Program at Mayo Clinic—Rochester, a program designed to engage bedside nurses in research.

Peterson lives in Rochester, Minnesota.
