Emily Bratlee-Whitaker

Emily Bratlee-Whitaker, BSN, MS, RN, is interested in subjective memory assessment, specifically in the ways in which individual characteristics impact individuals’ responses to memory assessment items. In particular, Bratlee-Whitaker is interested in the neuroticism trait and hopes to contribute to the field of memory assessment throughout her PhD program.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from The Pennsylvania State University.

Bratlee-Whitaker began her nursing career in critical care before working as a research assistant for an interdisciplinary lab at The Pennsylvania State University. This research experience motivated Bratlee-Whitaker to pursue her PhD.

Bratlee-Whitaker lives in State College, PA.
