Cleopatra Kum

Cleopatra Kum, BSc, BSN, RN is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Her research interest is understanding the impact of stroke family caregiving on caregiver health.

She is holder of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Buea, Cameroon. She also earned a BSN from Northern Kentucky University’s accelerated BSN program.

Her clinical background is in cardiac nursing, orthopedic nursing and home healthcare. She is a nurse entrepreneur, who founded and leads a home healthcare agency (Family Support Care LLC) in Cincinnati, Ohio. This agency specializes in providing quality care to seniors and people with developmental disabilities. Family Support Care LLC is certified by the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) and the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD). She is also an intervention nurse, working on a large randomized controlled trial (Telephone Assessment and Skill-Building Kit), aimed at promoting health in stroke family caregivers.

She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
